As the after noon approaches at the Potts residence you will find Mrs. Potts scurrying around preparing for tea. Tea is always a special time for the household especially when Mrs. Potts had been baking. Her cheese nibs are famous throughout the neighborhood and the smell alone will bring growls from all the tummies waiting in anticipation. She loves to dress up here table with her favorite teapot and cups, heirlooms from days gone by…
Mrs. Potts is made from dyed osnaburg and measures approximately 5” tall. She is weighted and mounted atop and old rusty or zinc jar lid. She has a needle-sculpted face with sisal fiber whiskers. She is wearing a green wool jacket with glass bead buttons and has a homespun skirt with lace apron. She is also wearing a small lacey cap next to her wool ears. Mrs. Potts is carrying a clay teapot in the “trademark” Soft in the Head rusty safety pin arms and a clay teacup on her tail.
