This pattern has two entirely different patterns under one cover....It's like a two for one deal!
Candy Corn Culprits These little 5" and 6.5" culprits are made using painted and dyed muslin. Their faces are stitched with french knots for the eyes and nose. They have sisal fibers for whiskers and rusty safety pins for arms. Their legs and tails are rusty wire, the boots are wool felt and there is a clay candy corn hanging from the tail. Each mouse is weighted to sit freely anywhere. Included in this vignette is a painted wood container that is used for their stash for all the sweet goodness.
Duffy "Duffy" and his pumpkin "pin-keep" are approximately 10" tall. Duffy is made from dyed and distressed muslin and the pumpkin is made from wool felt. The pumpkin has needle-sculpted sections with painted pins adding to its look. Duffy has wool ears, thread knots for eyes and nose and rusty safety pins for arms. He has a piece of candy corn, made from sculpey clay and painted, hanging from a piece of rusty wire. Duffy's feet or leg's, are rusty old square hand forges nails. This is such a cute little "pin-keep". I fell in love with it after it was finished and had a tough time putting it up for sale.
