It is now time for all good little cro-witches to take to the midnight skies in preparation for Halloween. If their wings won't work their brooms will. The secret is out! We now know how our little feathered friends are learning to fly. Patient momma crow is determined to teach her flock of fledglings the correct way of taking to the sky, even when they misbehave.
Momma is 14" tall and 11" long. She is painted and distressed muslin. She has a needle sculpted face and half black bead eyes. She is reading from a book that is made out of stiffened muslin and felt with the words stitched on. Her hat is felt that has been stiffened and adorned with a rusty safety pin and rusty bell. Momma's legs are twisted rusty wire. She is weighted and sits freely anywhere.
The kids are full of antics. They measure 7" tall and are weighted as well, except for little junior who is perched on top of Momma's hat. They all have rusty safety pins and bells on their hats, and they are made out of painted and distressed muslin. The little hats are stiffened felt.
